CemEditor Conversion Of Data From Version 1 to Version 2

The CemEditor automatically detects which version of the CemEditor created the database that is being opened. You will be prompted to convert the database to version 2 if the data was created with an earlier version of the CemEditor.

The software will make a backup copy of your existing data before converting it.

Once converted all of the CemEditor2 fields will be available for entry.

Tip

The existing data may be manually entered into the new fields from one field to another field.

OR

After the database has been converted you may export it to a CSV file, create a new database, and re-assign the fields during the import into the newly created database.
