CemToBOOK Version 2

  • MAINTENANCE: Improved error handling code.
  • Added: The CemToBook would previously allow some settings to be changed while the book was being created. Settings must now be made before starting the book creation.
  • Added: The utility now shows a description of the status during processing in addition to the record count.
  • FIXED: Formatting. The CemToBook was miscalculating margins and page breaks , mainly when severalor all capital letters were used during data entry. The utility now bases margins on scaled size and prevents margin over runs. This was a rare bug, but is now fixed.
  • FIXED: Formatting. The routines for Alphabetical and NoSort reports are more organized. When sorting alphabetically or by NoSort the CemToBook automatically adds any location information to the individuals transcription. This was added to eliminate confusion on transcriptions that contain multiple cemeteries.

  • Fixed: The CemToBook was not properly indexing all names and some names would not be included in the index. This mainly occured with books created using alphabetical sort. This update corrects this error.

Version 2.0.0002

  • Added: Imported data with tabs entered in the inscriptions field was causing the text to display incorrectly in the appendix. To correct this behavior tabs are now displayed as single spaces in the appendix. This update does not change the entered data, but only the way it appears.
  • FIXED: A very rare "Error 9 Subscript Out of Range" was caused by an overflow in an index. This update corrects the error.
